Fig Puree

  • SERVINGS: Makes about 8 ounces of puree

Use this puree to make The Mission cocktail.

  1. 1 pint Black Mission figs, stemmed and halved
  2. 1 tablespoon sugar
  3. 2 teaspoons water
  4. 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 5 days or freeze.
