"Orchard fruits go so well with gin," says mixologist Angus Winchester. In this summery drink, he pairs the spirit with muddled fresh peach.

  1. 1/4 peach, plus 1 peach wedge for garnish
  2. 4 or 5 mint leaves, plus 1 mint sprig for garnish
  3. Crushed ice
  4. 2 ounces gin
  5. 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
  6. 1 teaspoon crème de pêche (peach liqueur)
  7. 1 lemon wedge, plus 1 lemon wedge for garnish
  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the peach quarter with the mint leaves. Add crushed ice and all of the remaining ingredients except the garnishes and shake well. Strain the drink into a crushed-ice-filled rocks glass and garnish with the peach wedge, lemon wedge and mint sprig.
