West Coast native and beverage director David Lusby designed the drink menu for New York City star chef Tom Colicchio's L.A. restaurant. This East-West cocktail gets Asian flavors from lychees and Buddha's Hand citrus.

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the 2 whole strawberries with the lychees and lemon juice. Add ice and the vodka and Grand Marnier and shake well. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with the strawberry slice.
