Double K Crush (Vodka with Kiwis and Kiwano)
- SERVINGS: TWO 12-OUNCE DRINKS
If you've never used a kiwano, or horned melon, the time has come. If you can't find one, use three ripe strawberries.
- 1 kiwano
- 2 kiwis, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 4 ounces vodka
- 2 ounces Cointreau
- 2 cups crushed ice
- Cut 2 thin slices from the center of the kiwano; reserve for garnish. Scoop out the seeds from the kiwano halves and place them in a blender. Add the remaining ingredients and whir on high speed until smooth. Pour the drink into 2 highball glasses. Garnish with a slice of kiwano.
