Coconut Sparkling Wine Spritzer

Most grenadine cocktails are sweet color bombs (think: tequila sunrise), but this subtle drink plays up delicate coconut water and a lively spritz.

  • Total Time:
  • Servings: 1 drink

  • 2 thin lime slices
  • 1 1/2 ounces coconut water
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup (see Note)
  • Splash of grenadine
  • 4 ounces chilled sparkling wine, such as Prosecco or Cava

How to make this recipe

  1. In a chilled glass, muddle 1 lime slice. Add the coconut water, simple syrup and grenadine. Slowly pour in the sparkling wine and garnish with the remaining lime slice.

Make Ahead

The simple syrup can be refrigerated for up to 1 month.

To make simple syrup, in a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup each of sugar and water. Bring to a simmer over high heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Let cool completely, then refrigerate until cold
