Coconut Brownie Bars
If you like Almond Joy's this is the recipe. These were delicious! I thought the bottom would be more "brownie-like" but they were more like a chocolate candy bottom, but nevertheless, it complemented the fluffy coconut topping. These take a lot of time because of the chilling but are well worth it and you get a lot out of them. I thought the 2x2 inch size was too big so I cut the second half in to small bars. I opted to put 2 almonds on top instead of one.

I just wrote a very detailed review which disappeared after hitting the submit button, so I'll condense it to the brownie part, excellent, the coconut part, great, except a bit too hot or a bit too long on the cooking. The glaze, not good, stays sticky, too assertive with all bittersweet chocolate. Try just drizzling some chocolate over the bars, or do a combo of bitter or semi sweet with maybe even a bit of milk chocolate, mixed a dash of corn syrup, melted, skip the cream, and pour this over the bars, and don't try to enrobe them completely--too much work.
