Kathy Casey pairs this drink with raw oysters. She puts a little aquavit in a small mister and spritzes the shucked oysters just before serving them.

- 1 orange wedge
- 1 1/2 ounces vodka
- 1/4 ounce aquavit
- 1/4 ounce Cointreau or other triple sec
- 3/4 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
- 1 orange twist
- Squeeze the orange wedge into a cocktail shaker, drop it in, then add the vodka, aquavit, Cointreau and grapefruit juice. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a chilled coupe or 2 shot glasses; pinch the orange twist over the drink and discard.
