Cinnamon Syrup
- SERVINGS: Makes about 12 ounces.
- •MAKE-AHEAD
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 medium cinnamon sticks, broken into pieces
- In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil with the sugar and cinnamon sticks. Simmer over moderate heat for 3 minutes, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Let cool, then cover and let stand for 4 hours. Strain the syrup into a jar, cover and refrigerate for up to 1 month.
