  • 3/4 ounce JalapeƱo Tequila
  • 1/2 ounce mezcal
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 ounce Simple Syrup
  • 3 dashes of Angostura bitters

How to make this recipe

  1. Moisten the outer <a href="/articles/cocktail-basics-techniques#rimmingaglass">rim</a> of a coupe with the lime wedge and coat lightly with smoked salt. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the reposado tequila, the 3/4 ounce of Jalape&#241;o Tequila and the mezcal, lime juice, Simple Syrup and bitters; shake well. Strain the cocktail into the prepared coupe.
