Chinatown Sling

  • SERVINGS: Makes 8 drinks
  • MAKE-AHEAD

Nob Hill, Las Vegas

This drink is based on the Singapore sling, created at Singapore's renowned Raffles Hotel in 1915.

  1. 16 ounces pineapple juice
  2. 10 ounces gin
  3. 4 ounces triple sec
  4. 4 ounces Bénédictine
  5. 1 scant teaspoon Angostura bitters
  6. Ice
  7. 2 ounces cherry liqueur, preferably Cherry Heering
  8. 8 pineapple spears
  9. 8 maraschino cherries
  1. In a pitcher, combine the pineapple juice, gin, triple sec, Bénédictine and bitters and refrigerate until chilled, about 2 hours. Stir well and pour into ice-filled rocks glasses. Top each drink with 1/4 ounce of cherry liqueur and garnish with a pineapple spear and a maraschino cherry.
