Made this for dinner last night and while it takes a while to prep, it's excellent - rich and flavorful! I used cremini's and white mushrooms, used 1 cup of the porcini liquid in place of one of the cups of chicken broth in the veggies, used three layers of noodles instead of five. The white sauce didn't thicken in the pan the way I expected and poured more like liquid over the layers, but still set well. It was a hit for me and my husband. Next time, I'll do the same modifications and also double the prosciutto. Definitely a special occasion favorite!

This lasagna is fabulous. My husband and I made it and loved it. So, we made it again for a Christmas dinner party. They guests (adults and children) couldn't get enough. I'm making it again tonight for a New Years Eve party.

this lasagna was outstanding. We made this complete meal for Christmas dinner and almost skipped the lasagna because it seemed too much. Glad we decided to make it becuase it was the highlight of an outstanding dinner. I do not know what happed to austexmomma's meal but this was a dinner to die for. All dishes were extremely tasty. I did add more mushrooms to the recipe and only used 1 cup of celeriac but doubt it that made a difference.

I must say, this was a big disappointment.
Directions were followed exactly as called for.
This meal was definately NOT worth the time and effort.
Bummed out Christmas Meal.
Food and Wine recipes have always been right on and a huge hit, but this one is off.
Maybe I did something wrong??? I keep checking and did everything as directed though.
Could the mushrooms have been bad?
It was instant heart burn and greasy likeness to it.

I can think of a few (thousand) things more fun than prepping celery root and leeks, but this is a spectacularly delicious lasagna.
