Recipe: Caribbean Shrub

Ingredients

  1. 2 ice cubes, plus crushed ice
  2. 1 ounce dark rum
  3. 1 ounce white rhum agricole
  4. 3/4 ounce Strawberry-Balsamic Gastrique
  5. 1 small strawberry, for garnish
  1. Put the ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Add both rums and the gastrique and shake well. Strain the drink into a crushed ice—filled highball glass and garnish with the strawberry.
