Enrico Banducci's restaurant has been a Bay Area mainstay since it opened in 1958. The bartenders are famous for their aggressive muddling.

Plus: cachaça

  1. In a rocks glass, muddle the lime with the sugar. Fill the glass with ice and add the cachaça. Transfer to a cocktail shaker, shake well and pour back into the rocks glass.
