This hearty combination of rum, brandy, Scotch and bitters is named for William Tweed, an infamous 19th-century New York City politician known for blatant corruption and an enormous appetite for power.

Ingredients

  • Ingredients
    1. Ice
    2. 1 ounce blended Scotch
    3. 1 ounce brandy
    4. 1 ounce light rum
    5. 1 1/2 ounces fresh lemon juice
    6. 1 ounce Simple Syrup
    7. 3 dashes of Angostura bitters

Directions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the remaining ingredients, shake vigorously and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.
