Bar managers Ryan McGrale and John Gertsen develop seasonal variations on the cobbler, a pre-Prohibition cocktail made with sugar and fresh fruitblueberries in summer, tart Concord grapes in autumn.

Ingredients

- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 small lime wedge
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 1/2 ounces gin
- Ice
- 2 ounces chilled club soda
Directions
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle 15 of the blueberries with the lime wedge and sugar. Add the gin and ice and shake well. Strain into a highball glass half-filled with ice, top with the club soda and garnish with the remaining blueberries.
