This cocktail's name is a play on Champagne terminology. Blanc de Noirs refers to Champagne made with 100 percent Pinot Noir grapes; Blanc de Blancs are Champagnes made with only Chardonnay. Cava, ...

  1. 3 strawberries, diced, plus 1 strawberry slice
  2. 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
  3. Ice
  4. 1 ounce gin
  5. 3/4 ounce Cointreau or other triple sec
  6. 2 1/2 ounces chilled cava
  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the diced strawberries with the Simple Syrup. Add ice and the gin and Cointreau and shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Top with the cava and garnish with the strawberry slice.
