- 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon superfine sugar
- Ice cubes
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons gin
- 1/2 tablespoon Chambord liqueur
- In a chilled martini glass, using the handle of a wooden spoon, muddle the lime juice with the sugar. Fill a shaker with ice. Add the gin and Chambord and shake well. Strain the gimlet into the glass and serve.
