For this drink, Jeff Grdinich uses blackberries from his own garden, behind his house.

cocktails Glassware Guide

  1. 7 to 10 blackberries
  2. 2 ounces bourbon
  3. 1 lime wedge
  4. Sugar
  5. 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  6. Ice
  7. Dash of Peychaud’s bitters
  8. 1 ounce Navan (vanilla-flavored Cognac-based liqueur)
  1. Moisten the outer rim of a coupe with the lime wedge and coat lightly with sugar. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the blackberries. Add ice and all of the remaining ingredients and shake well. Double strain into the coupe.
