This tequila cocktail is a great Sunday-brunch drink (hence the name); pickle juice and hot sauce lend a nice kick.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces blanco tequila
  • 3/4 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce agave syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon spicy pickle brine (from a jar of pickles)
  • Dash of habanero hot sauce
  • Ice
  • Lime wedge and green olive, for garnish

How to make this recipe

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, lime juice, agave syrup, pickle brine and hot sauce. Add ice and shake well. Strain into an ice-filled Collins glass, garnish with a lime wedge and olive and serve.
