This Cal-Med restaurant, named for its "north of the Panhandle" neighborhood moniker, occupies a former bank. The vault is a constant and cool 56 degrees, perfect for

  1. Ice
  2. 3/4 ounce amaro (bittersweet Italian liqueur)
  3. 3/4 ounce Créole Shrubb or Grand Marnier
  4. 3 drops of orange flower water
  5. 5 ounces chilled lager
  6. 1 ounce chilled ginger beer
  7. 1/4 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
  1. Fill a pint glass with ice. Add the amaro, Créole Shrubb and orange flower water and stir well. Strain into a chilled pilsner glass and stir in the lager and ginger beer. Garnish with the grated orange zest.
