Traditionally a mist refers to an unmixed spirit poured into a glass filled with crushed ice. Mixologist Drew Levinson's mist calls for stirring the ingredients and then straining them over the ice.

  1. Ice cubes and crushed ice
  2. 2 ounces dry Riesling
  3. 1/2 ounce amaretto
  4. 1 1/2 ounces fresh lemon juice
  5. 3/4 ounce chilled club soda
  6. 1/2 ounce almond syrup
  7. 1 starfruit slice
  1. Fill a pint glass with ice cubes. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the crushed ice and starfruit. Stir well. Strain into a white wine glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with the starfruit.
