Belgian 75

  • TOTAL TIME: 5 MIN
  • SERVINGS: 1

This take on the classic French 75 calls for beer instead of Champagne. Here, the drink is made with a dry, delicate Belgian beer called Orval, but any Belgian ale would be delicious.

  1. Ice
  2. 1 ounce gin
  3. 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
  4. 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
  5. 5 ounces chilled Orval beer or other Belgian ale
  6. Lemon twist, for garnish
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the beer and the garnish. Shake well and strain into a stemmed beer glass. Top off with the beer and garnish with the twist.
