Recipe: Basil 8
Ingredients
- 6 Thai basil leaves
- 6 Concord grapes
- 1 ounce Simple Syrup
- Ice
- 1 1/2 ounces vodka
- 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
- Dash of Angostura bitters
- 1 ounce chilled ginger ale
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle 4 of the basil leaves with 4 of the grapes and the Simple Syrup. Add ice and the vodka, lime juice and bitters and shake well. Strain into an ice-filled collins glass and stir in the ginger ale. Garnish with the remaining 2 basil leaves and 2 grapes.
