Banana Smoothies

In just a bit more time than it takes to prepare cereal, you can make Dune's healthy, delicious breakfast shake.

  1. 2 ripe bananas, cut into 1-inch chunks
  2. 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  3. 1 cup fresh orange juice
  4. 2 tablespoons honey
  5. 2 tablespoons wheat germ
  6. 2 cups crushed ice
  1. Combine the bananas with the yogurt, orange juice, honey, wheat germ and crushed ice in a blender. Blend at high speed until smooth and frothy. Adjust the sweetness with more honey or orange juice and serve.
Notes One Serving Calories 290 kcal, Total Fat 3.4 gm, Saturated Fat 1.5 gm, Protein 6 gm, Carbohydrates 63 gm.
