Babylon Sister

Jonny Raglin • Absinthe
Jonny Raglin is always inventing brand-new drinks, which makes Absinthe’s “libations” list wonderfully unique. Like most Bay Area bartenders, he highlights West Coast spirits whenever possible. One favorite is Clear Creek Distillery’s kirsch, a cherry brandy that he uses in this dessert drink, an unlikely blend of maraschino liqueur, crème de cacao and cream.

  6. 1/4 ounce white crème de cacao
  7. 1/2 ounce heavy cream
  8. 1/4 ounce Simple Syrup
  9. 3 brandied cherries skewered on a pick

Directions

  1. Moisten half of the outer rim of a martini glass with the lemon wedge and coat lightly with cocoa powder. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
