Chef Amador Mora fashioned this drink after a traditional Mexican tequila cocktail that a friend from the Yucatán shared with him one Christmas.

  1. Ice
  2. 3 ounces silver tequila
  3. 1 ounce pineapple juice
  4. 1 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
  5. 1/2 ounce almond syrup
  6. 1 lime wheel
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the lime wheel. Shake well and strain into an ice-filled highball glass. Garnish with the lime wheel.
