Chef Amador Mora fashioned this drink after a traditional Mexican tequila cocktail that a friend from the Yucatán shared with him one Christmas.

- 3 ounces silver tequila
- 1 ounce pineapple juice
- 1 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
- 1/2 ounce almond syrup
- 1 lime wheel
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the lime wheel. Shake well and strain into an ice-filled highball glass. Garnish with the lime wheel.
