Algin Bath

  • SERVINGS:
  • MAKE-AHEAD
  • VEGETARIAN
  1. 1500 grams of water
  2. 7.5 grams of algin (see Note)
  1. In a blender, combine the water and the algin. Blend until smooth. Refrigerate for 48 hours until the air that was whipped into the mixture dissipates and the algin rehydrates itself.
Notes Algin is a purified carbohydrate extracted from brown algae and used as a stabilizer in food.
