Sommelier Mark Mendoza adapted the tequila sunrise by replacing tequila with apple brandy, and grenadine with crème de cassis.

  1. Ice
  2. 2 ounces Calvados
  3. 3 ounces fresh orange juice
  4. 1/2 ounce crème de cassis
  5. 1 apple slice
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the Calvados, orange juice and cassis. Shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with the apple slice.
