Amberjack

Mixologists are adding beer to their arsenal of ingredients. At San Francisco's Le Colonial, Jacqueline Patterson's fruity Amberjack uses Belgian apple lambic.

Ingredients
- Ice
- 1 ounce apple vodka
- 1/2 ounce Macallan amber liqueur
- 1/2 ounce Calvados
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1 1/2 ounces apple lambic
- 1 thin apple slice
Directions
- Fill a shaker with ice. Add the remaining ingredients except the lambic and apple slice and shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass, stir in the lambic and garnish with the apple.
