This take on a margarita was originally made with tart Granny Smith apple juice (hence its name, Spanish for grandmother), but Ciudad now uses the sweeter Gravenstein apple juice.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the apple slice; shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass; garnish with the apple slice.
