This take on a margarita was originally made with tart Granny Smith apple juice (hence its name, Spanish for grandmother), but Ciudad now uses the sweeter Gravenstein apple juice.

Ingredients

  1. Ice
  2. 1 1/2 ounces silver tequila
  3. 1 1/2 ounces orange curaçao
  4. 3 ounces apple juice
  5. 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
  6. 1/2 ounce fresh orange juice
  7. 1 Granny Smith apple slice
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the apple slice; shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass; garnish with the apple slice.
