It may seem like only a few short weeks ago we were introduced to the sweeping vistas and culinary landscape of Colorado, along with this season's stellar cast of cheftestants. But Top Chef season 15 is about to come to a close after traversing the state from Denver to Aspen and many places in between (check out our full list of everywhere the chefs and judges went this season). The last episode saw the pack whittled down from three to two after a vegetarian challenge at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen sent "Mustache Joe" Sasto packing (read our interview with him, including his mustache maintenance routine, here), and leaving Adrienne Cheatham and Joe Flamm, both south-siders from Chicago, to duke it out for the title.

Tonight we'll see the culmination of Joe and Adrienne's journeys this season as the chefs team up with some familiar faces to execute their visions. But first, to help them take a load off, Graham and Tom stop by to do some cooking. The pair of judges pop in to make dinner and connect with the finalists on a more human level after a season of subjecting them to their scrutiny.

According to Joe, the best dishes they've mad thus far this season are yet to come. He and Adrienne stopped by the Food & Wine test kitchen this week to compete in a challenge of our own design—reimagining a Chef's Salad as an amuse bouche—on a special episode of Mad Genius Live with Justin Chapple. We also chatted with them about their experiences this season, what it feels like to be in the top two, and what they think everyone should know about the Chicago food scene.

The “Top Chef" season 15 finale airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on Bravo.
