A Holiday-themed Quickfire Challenge this Wednesday pits judge against judge, with former Cheftestants deciding the winner.

Top Chef fans have seen many a chef put through grueling assessment by the show's judges over its 15 seasons, but this week, for the first time since the show began in 2006, it’s the judges that will be judged. Yes, you read that right—this Wednesday, December 13, Top Chef judges Padma Lakshmi, Tom Colicchio, Gail Simmons, and Graham Elliot will compete against each other in a Holiday-themed Quickfire Challenge, to benefit their respective charities of choice.

As much as viewers may have savor this chance to watch the judges become Cheftestants themselves, though, it's hard to imagine even their schadenfreude levels will match that of the two Top Chef alums who will be seated in the judge's chairs: season 4, 8 and Top Chef Duels veteran Antonia Lofaso, and season 2 runner-up Marcel Vigernon, who in addition to having returned before, is also currently competing once again on Top Chef: Last Chance Kitchen.

Things may get extra heated thanks to the chef-judges, who, according to Top Chef, have "a few surprises up their sleeves." All the Cheftestants know is that they must create "an impressive holiday dish," giving Lofaso and Vigernon a rare chance for Top Chef-style revenge. But in the end, a look at the candidates for the $10,000 prize reveal it as a win-win-win-win. Chef Lakshmi will play for the Shanti Bhavan Children's Project, Colicchio for Food Policy Action, Simmons for World Central Kitchen, and Graham for Smile Train.

And don’t worry, you don't have to win any competition, or even be a judge or Cheftestant at all, to ensure these causes get the support they need. During the Top Chef Quickfire Challenge, which will stream on the official Top Chef Facebook page this Wednesday, December 13 at 12 p.m. ET, Bravo will use Facebook's "donate now" feature to enable viewers to donate to any of the charities, as they watch.
