Dinner in the Garden

Start your meal with a salad of arugula and thinly sliced raw fennel topped with sautéed mushrooms and crumbled goat cheese. The sauce for the penne is prepared in minutes with fresh yellow bell peppers and canned Italian tomatoes. For the entree, boneless chicken breasts are stuffed with a puree of crumbled bacon, basil and garlic, and then breaded and cooked until brown. "Magic Cake" gets its flavor from chocolate, amaretti cookies and almonds, and is delicious served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
