Summer Pasta-and-Steak Dinner
This pasta dish is called "lazy" because not only is it a snap to make, you can prepare it up to three hours ahead. Serve it cold or at room temperature, as you prefer. Slices of grilled flank steak are punched up with a peppery molasses sauce and served over a crunchy romaine salad. Cool off with espresso granita, which you can make in your freezer without any special equipment. The granita can be prepared and frozen for up to two days.
