French Chicken Dinner
Here's a menu that a French grandmother might serve as a Sunday lunch. Start with a serving of pâté, flavored with shallots and port and served with toast points. Toasted walnuts and crumbles of Roquefort cheese grace a salad of Belgian endive and frisée. Accompany each portion of chicken with some of the roasted garlic cloves and creamy potatoes with a Parmesan crust.
