Asian-Style Cocktail Party

Throw a cocktail party with an Asian flavor. The sushi bar cocktail contains sake, pickled ginger juice and cucumber. Tablatinis have pineapple juice, lemongrass and vodka. Litchi Champagne Cocktails are, literally, glasses of Champagne or another dry sparkling wine with a canned litchi and some of the syrup--quite refreshing. Set out a bowl of crunchy, sweet walnut halves and start passing the hors d'oeuvres. Baby back ribs can be cooked a day ahead (make sure to allow enough time for them to marinate before cooking), then reheated before serving. The scallop dumplings can be refrigerated for one day ahead or frozen for up to two weeks. The jasmine rice cakes topped with smoked salmon can be refrigerated for up to three hours and brought to room temperature before offering them to your guests.
