Indian Lamb Dinner
Shrimp fritters can be made ahead and finished in the oven just before serving. Rub a butterflied leg of lamb with freshly ground spices, including coriander, cumin, mustard seeds, fenugreek and ginger. Plan to marinate the meat for at least six hours or overnight before roasting. Serve the sliced lamb with steamed basmati rice and Cauliflower Masala. Pots de crème get the Eastern treatment with fragrant cardamom. The dessert may be refrigerated for up to three days before serving.
