F&W's Justin Chapple demonstrates how to make crispy tortilla bowls with the help of a muffin tin.
[MUSIC] I'm Justin Chapel from Food & Wine's Test Kitchen. Join me as I demonstrate mad genius tips. I love a crispy taco bowl, but I never make them at home because the lat thing I want to do is deep fry. But I've got a mad genius tip that's gonna show you how to make crispy tortilla bowls using a muffin pan. So what you're gonna do is you're gonna lay your muffin pan upside down on a work surface and take small to medium flour tortillas and you're just gonna bunch them up just like this and stuff them in between the muffin cups. I'll do one more And we're almost done. Now, we're just gonna pop this into a 375 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes until they are lightly brown and crispy. Look at my crispy taco bowls. I'm gonna fill these with some delicious guacamole. A little bowl of guacamole also known as a guacobowle. [MUSIC] Mm, it's so good and it's so crispy. [BLANK_AUDIO]
