Le Taha'a Island Resort and Spa
Popular with honeymooners, this quiet resort is located on the white-sand beach of Motu Tautau, just west of the larger Taha’a island. The 57 Polynesian-style accommodations include over-water suites and beachfront villas, all with thatched roofs, tropical wood furniture, and decorative tapa (bark cloth). The villas have private plunge pools, and there’s also a main pool with a swim-up bar. Dining options range from the gourmet Ohiri, serving French-Polynesian fusion, to the more casual Le Vanille, which hosts a weekly Tahitian buffet with traditional fire dancing. Resort activities include snorkeling, scuba diving, and an excursion to a local vanilla plantation.
Congratulations to Mei Lin, winner of Top Chef Season 12.
