Table Bay Hotel

Occupying a modern gabled building, the hotel sits on the site of an 1869 stone breakwater wall, which has been incorporated into the architecture. Common areas here have a maritime theme, with paintings of legendary local ships; the most inviting is the first-floor Lounge, with its high open-trussed ceiling and expansive atrium window beautifully framing a view of Table Mountain (the perfect spot to hunker down in a cozy chair and enjoy the decadent afternoon tea spread).
