Snug Harbor Inn
One of Catalina Island's first luxury hotels, Snug Harbor Inn, was built in 1997. Its six Cape Cod-themed rooms have views of Avalon Bay, and are named after California's Channel Islands. Rooms have hardwood floors, granite bathrooms, Jacuzzi tubs, and fireplaces. Flat-screen TVs are in each room, and free movie rentals are available. A continental breakfast of granola, yogurt, fresh fruit, and bread from a local bakery is brought to the rooms in a basket every morning. Complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres are served every evening. The inn often offers room specials, like one that includes round-trip boat tickets from the mainland to Catalina Island.
