Now a privately owned hotel, this 1572 residence was the birthplace and childhood home of Kilian Dientzenhofer, the most prominent Czech Baroque architect of the 18th century. Situated in Malá Strana just a five-minute walk from the Charles Bridge, the celery-green house with white trim now contains seven guestrooms and two suites. Most rooms are furnished with hardwood floors, antique furniture, and windows framed by sheer white draperies. An included breakfast is served in the small dining room, while the four-seat bar stocks an array of local herbal liquors. The hotel also has a garden terrace overlooking the river Certovka.
Congratulations to Mei Lin, winner of Top Chef Season 12.
