Navutu Stars is an intimate, 20-capacity resort built along three bays on the Yasawa Islands. Beneath thatched roofs made with native nokonoko wood, the nine private bures (bungalows) include whitewashed walls, fresh flower arrangements, and Asian-inspired furnishings, as well as outdoor daybeds. The grand bures set atop the island’s volcanic rock outcroppings also have oversize, in-room soaking tubs. Combining fresh Fijian seafood and Italian recipes that reflect the owners’ heritage, the on-site restaurant serves specialties like steamed lobster claws and homemade fish ravioli in garlic-butter sauce. Popular activities range from snorkeling and hiking to visiting the local villages.
