Man of Aran was an acclaimed 1934 movie about life on Inishmore, chief of the Aran Islands, known worldwide for its thick wool sweaters. The traditional thatched cottage used in the film is now a country-comfy B&B with views of the water and stellar meals prepared with fresh ingredients from owners Joe and Maura Wolfe's organic garden. It is but one of 1,100 B&B’s across Ireland in the excellent Town & Country catalogue.
Doubles from $116.
