La Quinta Resort & Club
Set against the backdrop of the Santa Rosa Mountains, La Quinta Resort & Club was originally founded in 1926 as a desert playground for the Hollywood elite. Today, the renovated resort has more than 40 pools surrounded by fragrant citrus groves, colorful desert flowers, and walkways lined with towering palm trees. Modeled after upscale haciendas, the 796 guest rooms are housed in whitewashed adobe casitas with red-tile roofs, fireplaces, and French doors opening onto private patios. In addition to an award-winning spa, La Quinta is also home to a world-class tennis club, two championship golf courses, and six different restaurants.
