The L. Murray Dixon–built Hotel Victor has been restored in high sybaritic fashion by celebrated French designer Jacques Garcia. Inspired by the decadent 1930’s, the interiors are opulent: the lobby has a dramatic see-through jellyfish tank; guest rooms have richly-hued satin headboards and ebony-lacquered furniture. The white-marble bathrooms are lovely places to linger, with rain showerheads and infinity soaking tubs. A tranquil spa features European treatments, with Anne Sémonin products, and a 500-square-foot Turkish hammam (South Beach’s first).
