The hotel was originally Napoleon the Third's summer palace. Converted into a hotel in the late 1800's, the décor has been relatively unchanged for the last 50 or so years. Situated in Biarritz, a relative safe-haven from the throngs of tourists, Hôtel du Palais offers an escape from the outside world.
