Like the town itself, the inn is a mix of old and new; the main reception area and dining room are in a 19th-century house, while modern wings house the inn's 84 guest rooms. Each room is smartly appointed in tartans with canopy beds and has plenty of extra room for shopping bags. No fewer than 23 fireplaces are scattered throughout the property, including the homey Broad Arrow Tavern and Maine Dining Room restaurant.
