<p>Furniture and fashion designer Luisa Longo has transformed her family's 1960's villa into an intimate three-bedroom guesthouse, located in Rome's artsy Trastevere quarter. Longo has filled the inn's color-themed rooms (Orange, Blue, Green) with family heirlooms and her own Matisse- and Kandinsky-inspired designs (bright silk bedspreads, lamps with abstract swirls), all of which are for sale, conveniently, in the adjoining studio. A palm-filled courtyard, ideal for lounging after a long day of wandering the district's labyrinthine streets, adds to the B&B's charm. </p>
